About The Artist
Taylor Moore is an award-winning visual artist, classical singer, and jazz enthusiast that paints Lyrical and Expressionistic art based on unique beauty. He is especially inspired by figures, portraits, and abstracts and focuses his work on these subjects. Using his passion and knowledge of music, Mr. Moore creates art telling powerful stories, as music does, using light, composition, and design to create narrative atmospheres and distinct focal points that provoke thought.
Each piece is accompanied with the voices and genius of Verdi, Fitzgerald, Puccini, Getz, Gilberto, Holiday, Coltrane, and other jazz and opera masters to determine the movement of line and mood of color during his painting process.
Mr. Moore has work in private collections internationally in cities including San Francisco, Memphis, Dallas, Atlanta and Montreal.
Select paintings by Moore can be purchased at Sloan Home and Gallery in Buckhead, Atlanta. In March 2019, Moore's artwork was featured in the world premiere of choreographer Tom Mattingly's new innovative ballet "Figure in the Distance", performed by the company of the Richmond Ballet, The State Ballet of Virginia's 35th Anniversary Season set to music by contemporary classical composer and recent Kennedy Center Honors recipient, Philip Glass.
